This vanity is a current and relatively standard design. It has 1-1/2" thick leg-like end-panel and wall-trim that are flush with the door and drawer faces. All face veneers are grain matched. Dye was used to darken/color the cherry. All corners/edges are slightly eased (2mm radius). The pullouts and drawer boxes are doweled 1/2" russian birch plywood throughout and have soft close under-mount slides.

This may have been my first vanity, and I still like it. The exterior is all grain matched maple veneer. The interior is almond melamine. I did this one for the Beazer Ct. house I built.

The exterior is painted MDF and the interior is white melamine. The design is pretty basic, though I did use thicker than standard applied end panels - over an inch thick VS 3/4". I now prefer that all front facing edges be a minimum 1-1/2" (e.g. image). The HVAC vent in the toe-kick isn't blatent, but there are more aesthetic (and expensive) options. I built this for the Newell St. house.

I built this for a garden themed guest bathroom. Its made with painted MDF. I didn't get a picture of it finished. The design called for a curtain to enclose the space under the counter and behind the legs.

This vanity is located in a sauna/bathroom and I built it to match the benches in the sauna. Most of it was built with 2x (1-1/2" thick) clear Cedar.

I don't do may kitchens or bathrooms, but I have done some interesting vanities over the years. This category is a bit different from the rest. With the exception of the newest project being first, the rest are out of order.
Shaker Cherry
